Peter Crouch
Although I am rich beyond most peoples dreams, I decided to let my name, legacy and family reputation be used to garner a few more shekels because of my disgusting, fever like greed for a bit more of that lovely, delicious cash by agreeing to do an unnecessary, demeaning advert.

Re: Peter Crouch
Is this the Carphone Warehouse tv ad?

Seems a little silly to be getting wound up over a poor ad on the tv that makes fun of his height, in a fairly good-natured way.

Re: Peter Crouch
Seems alright to me and also happens to be knobing a stunner.
One of few footballers who don't take himself too seriously, fair play.

Re: Peter Crouch
He does seem to be over exposed, but he seems like a good bloke. Not sure he needs the extra cash to 'feed his kids' though.

If I happened to be fotunate enough to cop hold of a good few nicker for a few hours weekend "work" I wouldn't say no.
Seems a nice fella.

Re: Peter Crouch
His podcasts are highly entertaining, there's a lot more to him than a footballer - and his wife is fucking gorgeous and lets him get away with a nosh off from a whore. My kind of woman.

Bit of jealousy brewing, Ridikzappa?

That's a ridiculous user name, btw.

Re: Peter Crouch
What's the "demeaning" advert? The Carphone Warehouse one, is that what you mean?

He's taking the piss out of himself! Good advert. I'd forgotten CW even existed.

Crouch is one of the good guys in pro football. He's also more skilful than credited. There's plenty more players deserving of bile.

Re: Peter Crouch
Amazingly he still playing (ie sitting on the bench) in the Premier league at 38 but obviously is taking the opportunity to look beyond that
He is one of the more popular players and if an advertiser wants to give him money he'd be silly to turn it down

I note that when they had all that mental health thing a while back he said that all the Freak abuse he took DID affect him and put him off his game.
Which is why this sort of thing should continue against opposition players like the Man U fat cunts Jones and Shaw

You busybody cunt, what the fuck has it got to do you with how he earns his money?

His arms are too long.

cholo 9:49 Mon Jun 24
Re: Peter Crouch
For all we know he could give the fee to charity. He's a footballer not an artist, so has no artistic integrity to protect. He'll be on strictly come dancing at some point I'd have thought, might be worth watching if the gangly cunt is on there making a fool of himself, probably doesn't take himself too seriously.

geoffpikey 10:11 Mon Jun 24
Re: Peter Crouch
His arms are "too long"? He's 6'7" tall. If shorter, he wouldn't be able to reach his pockets.

22 goals for England in 42 games. That's good for international football.
Most headed goals in the Premier League.

I know he played for THEM , but he's a solid pro. Wish we'd signed him instead of Carroll!

38, and still coining it on and off the pitch. Well played.

I like Peter Crouch, he comes across well, he doesn’t take himself too serious and he has a cracking wife... so for that, I’m In!
